Nginx(engine x)是一个高性能的HTTP和反向代理服务器，也是一个IMAP/POP3/SMTP代理服务器。Nginx是由Igor Sysoev为俄罗斯访问量第二的Rambler.ru（俄文：Рамблер）站点开发的。它已经在该站点运行超过三年了。其特点是占有内存少，并发能力强，事实上Nginx的并发能力确实在同类型的web服务器中表现最好。目前中国大陆使用Nginx网站用户有：新浪、网易、腾讯、豆瓣……本站也是Nginx的用户与坚定fans！
此软件BSD-like协议下发行，可以在UNIX、GNU/Linux、BSD、Mac OS X、Solaris，以及Windows等操作系统中运行。

Change: now the “proxy_no_cache”, “fastcgi_no_cache”, “uwsgi_no_cache”, and “sÓgi_no_cache” directives affect on a cached response saving only.
*) Feature: the “proxy_cache_bypass”, “fastcgi_cache_bypass”, “uwsgi_cache_bypass”, and “sÓgi_cache_bypass” directives.
*) Bugfix: nginx did not free memory in cache keys zones if there was an error during working with backend: the memory was freed only after inactivity time or on memory low condition.
